Music at Playa

Liberal Palette produced videos for a group of talented musicians participating in an artists residency at PLAYA AT SUMMER LAKE during the summer of 2015.

Located at the northwestern edge of the Great Basin in south-central Oregon PLAYA supports independent individuals by giving them time and space to focus on their creative work and personal process.

Musicians participating in this residency came from California, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, and Idaho. They represent a broad swath of creative styles and disciplines, including a gifted harpist and her side-kick cowboy buddah guitarist husband, a wonderful cowboy poet, two husband and wife singer-songwriter duos, two thirds of a 3HatTrio, and one token instrumental guitarist.
